High Pressure, High Temperature processing of grease lubricants requires robust engineering and sealing technology. Combining the viscosity with these factors means a concentric drive machine will provide axial flow within the autoclave and the anchor scraper will deliver heat transfer from the vessel walls whilst baffling the flow and remove media that may bind, due to the heat.
Drives are independent variable speed and high torque. Sealing these shafts are double mechanical seals allowing 8.5 BarG pressure in the vessel (tested to 12.9BarG) and 2000C in the vessel jacket at a pressure of 4.5 BarG.
The vessel jacket is dual-zone offering complete temperature control during low and high level volumes as well as more efficient energy use.
This mild steel pressure vessel is designed and built to PED PD:5500 pressure vessel regulations. Now successfully in use, this machine is located in Qatar at a leading petroleum based products manufacturer.
