High viscosity fluid mixing, powder dispersion and the elimination of cavitation during mixing can be low investment and efficient to operate.
The unique BT impeller delivers axial flow without cavitation in fluids up to 150,000 centipoises with low power input requirements. Breaking of lumps or agglomerated powders into the fluid base is overcome with a BT impeller due to its high peripheral speed and more importantly the blade geometry that prevents cavitation (when a impeller simply cuts a hole in a viscous fluid).
Many clients specify high speed dispersion (HSD) mixers involving high shear blade and consequently high energy inputs when this impeller type often delivers the results required.
