About Us
The Company was founded in 1919 to undertake general engineering work, but soon established specialist manufacturing capabilities which included Whitehead steam governors, bevel gearboxes and in-line shafting. The first agitator was manufactured in 1922. |

| In 1947 the Company produced its first high speed mixing machine which became predominant in the textile industry in the 1950's, and in the paint industry in the 1960's, which has resulted a world-wide reputation for mixer technology in both design and manufacturing capability. |

| Computerised design was introduced in 1979, with research support during recent years from the BHR Group, CNC machines are used extensively in production. |

Greaves premises occupy over 2000 sq. metres of modern offices and workshops, including a new research laboratory for testing customers products and the further development of mixing concepts.
